Top Three Must-See Movies!

My movie addict of a brother and constant movie buddy, Kevin, told me about the must-see movies this first quarter. I absolutely love watching movies, and this got me really excited. Movie buffs out there know for sure which movies are worth their time and two hundred bucks. For those who don’t, here are three great reasons why you should grab that bucket of popcorn and head off to the nearest movie house:

NOW SHOWING: ZERO DARK THIRTY – this movie, directed by Kathryn Bigalow (director of Hurt Locker), features the hunt for history’s most elusive Al-Qaeda terrorist leader Osama Bin Laden after the 9/11 attacks. Rated R, 157 minutes, 7.7-IMDB rating, 93% Tomatometer rating. Book a ticket now. Yes, now.

NEXT ATTRACTION: LES MISERABLES – who doesn’t know Valjean, Javert, and Fantine? Who doesn’t carried away when hearing the song “On my own?” Tom Hooper directs the movie adaptation of this famous Broadway play with a powerhouse cast including Anne Hathaway, Russell Crowe, and Hugh Jackman. Rated PG-13, 157 minutes, 8.1 IMDB rating, 70% Tomatometer rating. Fight, dream, hope, and love on January 16, 2013.

COMING SOON: DJANGO UNCHAINED – Stars Jamie Foxx as Django, a slave in search for his wife whom he lost during the slave trade. With the help of a bounty hunter, Django tries to rescue Broomhilda in this action film directed by Quentin Tarantino. Rated R, 165 minutes, 8.7 IMDB rating, 89% Tomatometer rating. See Django off the chain on April 10, 2013.

These films promise not just pure entertainment, but also high-voltage acting and gripping stories which will definitely tug at those heartstrings. What with the number of Oscar nominations that each film has, I’m sure they will all satisfy the movie junkie in me.
